President/CEO Message

        If you are in the area or looking to relocate, we may have a part-time position opening in the future.  You can Email the credit union about future openings at jobs@coastguardecu.net .  Please use the subject line "Possible Openings" if inquiring about any possible positions.

    We are still looking for a volunteer on the Board Directors as the Treasurer.  If you are interested in this position or other volunteer positions you can Email me at president@coastguardecu.net for information and a volunteer application.  You must be a member to volunteer.

    Please spread the word about your credit union and the value it has for one to join.  We continue to have a low share to loan ratio, thus we have plenty of money to loan to good borrowers.  Remember we do not have the fees that other financial institutions charge and we provide other benefits that other credit unions charge each member directly.

   The Board of Directors has approved a new Consumer Lending Policy,  watch for changes in the applications forms.  Most of the changes were made to improve the process and speed up the reviews.  We will be sending out more in the next newsletter and on this web site.

    We still are paying above average dividends on our shares.  Thus, we are a good place to save some money for better days.
