Who Can Join

A provision of the Federal Credit Union Act which permits an individual to remain a member of the credit union until he or she chooses to withdraw or is expelled from the membership of the credit union. Under this provision, leaving a group that is named in the credit union's charter does not terminate an individual's membership in the credit union.

Field of Membership

Field of membership (FOM) - Civilian employees of the United States Coast Guard (USCG), USCG Active Duty and Reserve military, USCG Auxiliary, USCG retired employees, retired military, retired reserve, and retired auxiliary, organization of such employees, military and retired personal of the USCG, members of their immediate families and members of the organizations.
